Amyline Tinker is a hardworking fortune teller descended from Irish Traveller stock and the daughter of the renowned psychic Granny Tinker. But when even her best friend Rose tells her she’s getting off-kilter and desperately needs a vacation, Amy finally agrees. She heads to Mission Archangel, a picturesque Spanish mission nestled in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, for some much needed rest. Soon, however, there are reports of grisly homicides in the area, and local deputy sheriff Nick Dodge needs Amy’s expertise to help track the serial killer. Yet how can Amy recuperate while trying to resist her attraction to the unnervingly good-looking Nick, especially when she’d sworn off men forever?
